Clinic Safety Guide and Patient Requirements

For Patients:

1. Please arrive no more than a few minutes before your scheduled appointment time to ensure minimal time in waiting rooms. If you are more than 10 minutes late, you may need to reschedule as we are spacing out clients as much as possible for the time being.

2. Patients are required to wear a clean/new surgical or N95/K95 mask. Cloth masks may only be worn with a surgical mask, not solo as they are not as effective alone against Omicron. Masks must cover the nose, mouth, and chin. No bandanas or neck gaiters as they are not effective. Masks must also be worn properly during the entire treatment. Consider double masking if you are in a high risk group and have not yet been vaccinated. We cannot offer full facial cosmetic acupuncture treatments at this time.

3. Please sanitize your hands before treatment. There are hand sanitizing stations in the lobby of the building and some in our waiting room.

4. We may take your temperature with a contactless thermometer when you arrive.

5. You are required to read and sign the Covid 19 Informed Consent to Treatment Form. You may print a copy HERE or sign at the office.

6. If you have recently travelled, been exposed, have any cold/flu/Covid like symptoms, please refrain from coming in until you have been tested or have waited 2 weeks and are clear.

Office Protocols and Changes:

We are giving an extra 10-15 mins between each patient to sanitize rooms and let them air out and dry before the next patient arrives.

We are temporarily switching to paper table covering and pillow cases so tables can be easily wiped down and sanitized after each patient. We cannot use table warmers at this time.

Windows in the treatment rooms will be cracked open to allow for some extra fresh air circulation. We also have a new hepa/UV air filter to help circulate and clean the air rapidly. Since it may get a little chilly, we will have a space heater available and encourage you to wear warm, baggy clothing that can easily roll up to your elbows/knees to your treatment. If you tend to get cold, please bring a towel or small blanket with you to use during treatment. Please bring shorts to change into if you cannot wear pants that will roll up over your knees during the treatment.
